Serra's massive steel works play with your perception of space and your sense of balance. I tried to do the same with this "pen".
A large ball transfer protrudes by a mere few thousandths of an inch beneath the base of a 12lb block of steel that lists a few degrees off vertical. It is difficult to hold the block up with one hand, but set it down on a smooth surface and it glides effortlessly. An inkwell feeds into the ball transfer, transforming it into a massive ballpoint pen tip.
