The Flowrider, the second of my two Master's thesis projects, was an exploration into surprising motion, the balance between cooperation and competition in kids vehicles, and just plain fun.
Unique wheel and frame designs allow two joined Flowriders to move about with composite motion: neither driver is in complete control, neither driver is without control. Both drivers can influence - but not dictate - where the unit goes. With some practice, the motion can become literally balletic.
