Return to our old neighborhood

We've been looking forward to visiting our old Daikanyama neighborhood. We take a walk past our old apartment building, then make a stop at a small but elegant place called Cafe Gigio run by the Kobayashi family.

We introduce the Kobayashis, gracious hosts at Cafe Gigio, to Anya and Liya

We also have fun going back to some of the cool stores in the neighborhood.

A bull in a china shop has nothing on a small inquisitive child in a spendy lacquerware shop

A tiny shop called Kamawanu sells tenugui (traditional cloth hand towels), which come in very useful in railway restrooms that aren't equipped with traditional paper towels
